College recruiting

The recruiting process, run with me.

From the first email to the final decision. Guided by a coach who has received the emails, recruited Top 5 classes and placed more than 165 players into college golf.

College recruiting

165 players placed. 3 were my own kids.

I have been on both sides of recruiting: as a college coach at Duke and Ohio State who received the emails and recruited Top 5 classes, and as a dad who walked all three of his kids into Division I golf. I know what gets a player noticed, what gets an email deleted, and what a coach is really asking when they call.

College Recruiting is the recruiting process, run with me, for families who have development covered and want the college search done right.

The program

What we do together over 12 months.

01
Honest evaluation

Where your player really stands: scoring, stats, academics and how college coaches will see them. Which levels are realistic now, and which could be with work.

02
School list

A list matched to your player's level, academics, goals and the kind of school they'll thrive at. Reach, match and safety, the way coaches think about it.

03
Coach outreach

Letters, a golf résumé and a swing video that get answered. I review every message before it goes out.

04
Contact log

A running log of every email, call, camp and visit, and every response, so nothing slips.

05
Timeline

A plan from 9th grade through signing, built around the NCAA calendar, so there's no panic junior year.

06
Tournament schedule

Events chosen for exposure and ranking, not just convenience.

07
Visits and offers

How to prepare for visits, what to ask, how to read an offer, and how to compare them.

08
The decision

Help weighing fit, money, academics and golf, and handling the conversations with coaches at the end.

The rhythm

Monthly

A recruiting call with the player and parents.

As needed

Review of every email and message before it goes to a coach.

Each season

Schedule and target-list update.

Signing

Guidance through visits, offers and the final decision.

Who it's for

  • High school golfers who want to play college golf at any level, Division I to Division III and NAIA.
  • Families starting in 9th or 10th grade. Earlier is better, and it's rarely too late.
  • Players who already have a development plan and a swing coach, and want the recruiting piece handled by someone who has done it 165 times.

If you also want the development plan, Practice Lab and weekly coaching, look at Elite, which includes recruiting.
